Long time reader first time poster.
I've been enjoying my 2000 CLK 230 for about 10 years now and I just can't give it up. I think it will end up on blocks for the grandkids if i can get away with never having to part with it!
Its seen a complete rear end rebuild after a truck put the boot into the back seat and if anyone over there is wondering... merc vs kangaroo : merc wins although the roo did take out the front right of the car.
About a week after getting it I accidentally left a carton of orange juice on the back seat.. it was a hot aussie summers day.. the car is black.. lesson learned.
Thanks for having me! Im looking forward to getting into lots of articles here on stereo upgrades or mods and getting the bzzzzzzzzz...t sound out of the cheap new bulbs i've installed in the internal lighting.
Its hard getting any reliable information here in west .au!
