Genuine MB springs are not that expensive, AMG and Avantgarde springs are the same on a W/S210. They come with a 2yr warranty as well.

The 210s are great cars but do consider that their age can take its toll on some parts particularly the ones exposed to the wet conditions of the UK roads. With the weight of a v8 in the front I would not be surprised for an old spring to snap.

Best replace with originals to maintain the ride quality, but if you go aftermarket go German again H&R.

Must admit, for the price of genuine MB springs and fitting from a trusted Indy, it's a no-brainer to fit new springs.
