Yes I still have the A208, still love the car every time I get in and tbh from what I read on here I would be scared to buy a newer MB.

I had to replace the MUX that you used as the serial driver chip died. My main interest in this deal is that the wifes Focus has an intermittent AirBag warning in the dash and STAR wont touch a ford.

So originally we would have needed 60 people to get the £175 price. (plus p&P)

Hi Ian, what can this OBD reader do over and above the MB V11 or MB V2. Can it do a forced regen on the MB W212 OM651 engine? Is it a general purpose tool not confined exclusively to MB?

Firstly, if you've got a very specific question, I'd use the chat on the Ljmcardiagnostics site. The owner is really nice and responsive.

However the bit I know is this. They do the MB V2, which will do almost everything for a Merc. However if you also have a Rangie Rover, or a LR, you'd need a
iCarsoft LR V2.0 - Land Rover & Jaguar Professional Diagnostic Tool

French Car, the FR version and so on, each at £140 a pop.

The CR Pro does everything the MB 2.0 does and more, plus what the LR 2.0 and The FR 2.0 etc all do as well.

Plus all of these.

Thanks for your very informative reply, IamMBFORUM. Mercedes is the car of choice presently, and for the foreseeable future, and I have the iCarsoft MB 11 version, I got it the week before they upgraded too the MB V2 But so far it does everything that I need, except doing a regen. so for now, I'm OK, but that could change.
