Grr.....My interior blower motor is operating intermittently which isnt very nice when its about -10 outside and you cant see where you are going.
It'll come on and blow air round for varying times between 5 secs and 5 mins, then stop working for anything between 2 mins and about 3 days!...
When it DOES operate it goes at the speed the switch is set to on the heater control module so it is getting the correct voltage to the fan, it just seems to go on strike more often than a french docker.
Voltages at the motor check out... 3 pins, one @ +12v, one at earth and the other switching from 0 - c7.5v depending on blower switch position.
Local dealer reckons it is the motor speed regulator, a unit which bolts onto the motor which looks like a sort of diode pack.
Anyone shed any light on this before I take it to the dealer & hand over about £200 in desperation to get it sorted??
PS heater control module replaced in Oct, car has A/C
