Guess my MPG ( excitement lays ahead, read on!!)

I've easily managed 47mpg with cc set to 70 on 400 mile trip from Skye to Manchester last year

I'm so excited a bit of wee came out.

I'm just gonna throw a random number in here that I've not seen posted and say 48mpg.

If I was comparing to my E320 (inline six) I'd say about 44mpg at 80 though.

If the result is based on real brim to brim fillings not the cars trip computer I'm going for....

45.3

Use cruse as much as possible. Watch the variable speed limits on the M42/M6.

Enjoy the drive.

Ok situation update.

Car all detailed.

original banter with elderly neighbour about how I can clean his car next.

Notice things I hadn't before, which I could have used to barter with when I bought it

Admire car when walking back to it after filling up.

Spotify playlist done for journey

Bought haribo.

There's a theory, that if you ask a group then take the average, the group will probably be accurate. So, it would be interesting* to see afterwards what the group average prediction is compared to reality.

*not interesting.

42.

BTW you'll never squeeze that big car down the drive to thee garage.

At an average 54mph...that's rubbish!
