Gumball 3000 2011

I happened to pass The Trafalgar (hotel) near Trafalgar Square yesterday morning and had to wade through lots of Gumball 3000 branded roadie-looking blokes and trucks.

On the way back there were lots more photographer-looking blokes stood in the road, and a very mean looking wide-arch stripped-out stickered-up Toyota Supra rolled in to Kennard Street.

I assume The Trafalgar was the official hotel for night #1. Shame I was in a rush to get back - it would have been interesting to loiter.

Anyone happen to see any of the action? I think the rally started today.

A few went past me as I was walking round by Tower Hill, most interesting was an Aston Martin with some kind of metallic bronze wrap on the front.

Yep, that's the one, about 4/5 went past in the space of a minute or so. Another one was a Ferarri, 430 maybe - on foreign plates and I think it was black.

isent that aston ICE T's and it keeps breaking down.. like every 2 miles..
