PSA had the right idea years ago with the keypad immobiliser. They should bring it back, no grabbing the signal from them

No wonder so many people with keyless start have reverted back to 90`s tech and now use Diskloks!

I had a car with keyless entry/ignition for 5 years, but to be honest I still can't understand some people's fascination with it.

Mrs. MJ did find it more convenient when getting back to car carrying the shopping.... but that's about it.

My present car has a keyless system.

Initially, I was quite ambivalent about it. It is one of those gadgets which you can easily live without but having sampled it and got used to the convenience, I've really come to like it. I think you have to be within 1 meter of the door you are attempting to open before it works. That said, if the baddies were able to break into a RR easily, my Jaguar will be easy meat too, as it probably uses the same JLR system.
