I have a W163 (52 plate) with a retro fitted Command Unit
What are my options for getting myself hands free?

Do I have any options
am keen to stay on the right side of the law, but need it to be as cheap, reliable and easy to fit as possible

There are lots of options available. None of them that cheap and integrating into the car may not be 'easy'.
I used a Motorola bluetooth kit which works well but is a bit dated now.
Do a search on this forum for parrot or bury as these seem to be the preferred options.
If you have steering wheel controls and want those to work you will need to buy a suitable adaptor also.

Alternatively there is a full MB phone retrofit but that is quite expensive and would probably need professional fitting.

I use a parrot on my W163 and it works a treat.
