No, I didn't know it existed either, though a mate of mine told me yesterday. A Yorkshireman with a dirty black CLS55 (aka The Black Death) no less.

Anyway, according to WIKI, apparently it's to commemorate the day in 1295 when Lancashire first sent representatives to Parliament.

I'll be celebrating it by doing some work on one of the cars, so pretty low key really. :(

Anyone who's celebrating it, enjoy. :bannana:

I thought it must be a day when it's not raining there, but that's pretty unlikely...

I live in Lancashire and I'm really happy! Just got a text from my son saying he's at the F1 on a yacht with AstroTurf at the back, lol!

Always a good day to be a Lancastrian.

And no its not raining Charles, its trying its best mind.

Black Puddings, Pie, chips and gravy for tea. Flat cap an clogs (caulkers mine) on. Tek t'whippet for a wok t' pubm pint of Thwaites and 'ome.

Happy Lancashire days to my friends on the wrong side of the Pennines!

Ha missed it the last time round. Really must read the dates on threads. HLD to you Dave.
