I have just come back from 3 weeks away driving a 31ft Motorhome in Utah (www.rungeordierun.com) to my recently-acquired, 20-year-old R129.
It has an aftermarket immobiliser and I was not expecting a lot of life left in the battery, but it started virtually instantly
Apparently I missed some poor weather, so I hope it's straight back to my immobiliser - ignition - top down routine that I enjoyed in the early Spring.
