A bit late in the day, but never mind....:D

Happy Yorkshire Day to my fellow Yorkshiremen and to those scattered around the country and all over the world. :thumb:

From a Lancastrian.

Hope you have had a great day and are getting the right side of a couple of "John Smiths" Still brewed in Tadcaster I assume?

CHEERS

Cheers mate been celebrating all day :bannana: and a fine display from Mr Bresnan with superb bowling in the test once again proving Yorkshire can turn out world class cricketers :thumb:

A superb performance from Bresnan - he was unlucky not to be chosen for Lords but having picked Broad, the rest is history and I think Bresnan has just guaranteed his place. An altogether massive performance by the England bowling attack, the first time in decades that we have a seam attack (with reserves of humungous quality) that is up there with the best in the world.

Definition of a Yorkshireman = Scotsman with the generosity removed :D

And the Yorkshireman's Prayer

'Hear all, see all, say nowt;
Eyt all, sup all, pay nowt;
and if tha ever does owt for nowt, do it for thissen.'"

Lots of misunderstanding in garages around here because of that word. Is "oyl" that stuff you put in the engine or a ground excavation sometimes used to work underneath cars? :D as in get darn t'oyl and fix t'exhaust on't that car :dk:

Hmm, sounds pornographic to me. I don't really want to know in which hole you put your wood. :confused:

Rollerskate? If it was blue it would look just like one of Bart Simpson's shoes.
