If so, any help with these 2 pics and where i maybe able to put the red (ACC) and yellow (B+) wires? (That's the fuse box for my Auto Merc B-class B180 Sport CVT below)
As you can see there are plenty of unused spaces, would it be wiser to just use a fuse tap for an existing ACC (accessory) and one for B+ (battery power) fuse each? or if anyone knows which spare spots i could use?? Surely someone has done this before
Here is the fuse box layout...
I spent some time trying to find a permanent live on my B200 to do just what you want, but couldn't find one anywhere. I was hoping to find that the aux skt fuse could be reversed so that it was ignition live one way and permanent live the other, like I've had on other cars, but no such luck.

One problem with a lot of the fuse positions on MBs and others is that when prodding them with a meter with the ignition off, they show live, which then disappears about 10 minutes later.
Also, just because there appears to be 'spare' positions in the box, doesn't mean there's actually volts at them at all; a lot are there for equipment that may not be fitted to that particular vehicle.
