I am looking at my next upgrade to the CLK and am considering Xenons. Apart from the obvious front bumper change for the washers, has anyone installed OEM Xenons on their CLK? Any idea of the cost or suppliers other than Stealerships?

Cheers,

Edit: I am also looking for an auto dimming rear view mirror in Orion grey for the CLK cabriolet. If anyone knows of one anywhere or the true MB part number, please let me know.

Use the original parts pimp, Steve (MBenzNL).

I've emailed Steve but was wondering if there any other sources.

There is a bosch retrofit kit including headlamp housings, control units, bulbs and everything. Price is about £650 before discount from your local bosch outlet. Stealership prices are £600 per headlamp housing!

You will also need to address the automatic adjustment issue.

Are these the same as the OEM ones?

OEM are made by Hella IIRC. I will need some time to find out the Bosch part number (I have found the DE LHD kit part number, not the RHD Euro/Asia/Aus kit).

I am planning to do the same mod to my own car, that is how I know about the retrofit kits :)

Shude, thanks.
