Has Anyone Switched to Windows 11 Yet?

1GHz processor with at least 2 cores is all you need...

TPM 2.0 is going to prevent more machines than the CPU will as your machine will need to be within the last 6 years to have TPM 2.0 (released October 2014 but only in new PCs).

You can still logon locally on Windows 11 Pro.

Don't know about Home machines or similar though so that could well be the case as none of our machines are compatible because of TPM.

Doesn't surprise me if that is their aim though.

I think companies released in the noughties the subscription model was the best way to minimise lost revenue.

You get the revenue from the subscription but also people using the software have nothing to sell on.

Win win.

Having said that - I upgraded my work PC last week and it's performed without issue ever since. I quite like 11. Still getting used to the Mac "dock" Taskbar they blatantly stole from Apple.
