I have recently (last 3 days) suddenly been deluged with emails from Mailer Daemon similar to those below and all quoting my exact email address not as shown below.

I had exactly the same thing from a nat west fraud email - I wouldn't worry about it..
 
Don't know what to say. It really pisses me off- WRONG settings on SMTP servers by home-made-admins!

It is not your fault- someone somewhere tried your email as a FROM: to spam other people. And as some stupid admins has setup SMTP server incorrectly, you have received this bounceback.
Nothing what you can do (apart form changing email address).
