Hi All,

My car was looking a bit too 'mild',

I needed something to 'darken' her!!

Got the wheels done at Mint Alloys, in Silsoe. They done a top job, wheels are now a perfect finish, in Gloss Black.

I think I am going to continue to 'blacken' parts of the car, nothing major, just odd little bits.

Have fitted a TPMS also, to keep an eye on any cracks!!!. Just done a 250 mile trip, & all 4 tyres were monitored for pressure, & temp. Very impressed, just hope it lasts!!

Will post some pics when I have found a suitable location, & hard-wired it in.

Regards.

Looks good - black is growing on me to be honest.

If it isn't too cheeky may I enquire how much they charged.
.

Cheers,

Allan

No prob, it was £280 for 4 x 19". I dropped off the car, they did the rest, so not a bad price considering they remove tyres, refurb, put tyres back on, balance, & refit to car!

Is that a horrible cheap shyte LG Air-Conditioning unit I spy in the back ground of Pic 1? :wallbash:

Looks nice. :)

Good to see another RRS owner on here. :thumb:

Don't much care for the look myself. Perhaps you need a set of the black wheel bolts from the other thread.

You don't notice as much brake dust on black wheels....:D
Which IMHO is the only saving grace. The look's not for me either, sorry.

But then what do I know, my last car was a carefully chosen Lime Yellow Saab convertible.................

A vast amount of 'AMG Sport' models and proper AMG's come with Black wheels at the mo.

So do most performance Audi's.

Tis whats on trend at the mo

Still a matter of choice though - follow the crowd or not?
