Who says current parking spaces are too small?

:p
That's the sort of car I travelled around in in my carry cot:cool: My father was from just up the road from Galashiels in Dalkeith...and went to high school in Dunns....:D

Ok, I know I am new here but here are the cars I hired and saw whilst on my road trip in the US. I'm a car nut as is my lad...

So the first car - was the Merc from the hire place

2nd car - A Chevy Malibu, which surprisingly not a bad little car.

3rd car - not a hire car but as a web developer / programmer this is a cool plate. This is in Vermont.

4th car - Chevy Impala, 300bhp v6, was a lot of fun. My lads loved it!

Wow: £600+k worth and parked on the street. Has done about 250 miles a year over the last twelve years.... Cripes

Yep, you needed £100k plus a DB7 donor car to get Ant Anstead to create this DB4GT Zagato replica "back in the day."

All tastefully done, modern crisp and clean, although the built in SatNav and some other accoutrements aren't to everyone's taste.

I don't know who owns this one, it just rocks up on high days and holidays.

With due respect to the DB7 running gear, I still think it'll be a pain to drive.

I saw this extremely rare AMG in Reading today. Strangely enough though the DVLA has it down as being a 1.8 diesel

Ah, but have you seen the Mercedes Brabus driving around Reading. The only problem is it’s only got the performance of a E220 diesel!!!

This was in Germany. There was a big Merc parked behind this Moby and sex taking place within it! I liked the camper but didn't realise that it is where the working girls do their business.

Most of my holiday pics are of old vehicles.

Howmanyleft shows only about 150 CX left now, and probably only a few of them are the estate. I wonder if they’re worth a bit now given the rarity?

There is an Uber rare six wheel CX conversion seen around Kent occasionally. Not sure if it is six wheel drive or just looks nice.

I wished I took a photo, but a pristine Thunderbird in light blue. Cream leather interior.

Which reminds me - I saw this ten days ago, casually parked up. And it was in better condition than it looks in the photos

It was very similar to that. Round rear lights. The car was looooooong. I made my E Class estate look like a small family car. 4 doors.

In addition to the 2 Merc campers already shown, all of the following were spotted in just 2 days in Holland;

Remember, all in just 2 days, all seemingly in regular use. That's more DSs than you'll see in a year over here, outside of a car show. There was also another DS estate that drove past me too.

That little Fiat 500 was gorgeous. I used to have one. Once drove it from Plymouth to Durham and back

The Dutch certainly love their classic cars.

LG.
