Wow - that takes me back. I remember getting the brochure for one of those when they first came out when my dad was buying an escort. I thought they were AMAZING until the Cosworth came out. That one looks mint considering the rust-buckets most must have become.

Any ideas what this is? The garden is totally overgrown.

BMC Farina saloon of some variety. There were lots of badge-engineered versions, but from the tail-lights I'm calling series 6 Morris Oxford. I wouldn't bet the farm on it, though..

Cheers,

Gaz

I learnt to drive in a MG Magnette one of the versions of this Farina body, it used to rear wheel drift around bends at speed rather well, after a few pints in the pub on a Saturday night.

Its a Farina design- likely an A 55 Austin Cambridge/Morris Oxford /Wolsey 15/60***/ Riley 4

It doesn't have the larger tail fins of an A55 Mark II or a 15/60 so I'd concur with the suggestion of a Series VI Morris Oxford or possibly a Wolseley 16/60.

Judging by the rather neglected condition, there is a very strong likelihood that it will end up on the banger racing track as all varieties of Farina have been a favourite there since the 1970s and they remain very well represented at classic banger events.

So the lucky ones look like this:

And the unlucky ones end up like this:

Followed by this in a well respected showroom in Ripley, Surrey.IMG_2039.JPG

Such a shame they couldn't be bothered to clean the tyres - I would have expected better to be honest!IMG_2042.JPG

A 2014 registered Ferrari 458 Spider with registration H41 LEY. Very nice!

Spotted one of those new sporty Hyundai i30’s on the M1 this morning

It actually looked real nice, every detail. Just needs de-badging though as I couldn’t get over the brand badge

Saw this at Glastonbury but the owner was never there to discuss when I happened to walk past. (It's my 124 behind it btw.) It had Overlander 2 writ large on the back:
