Has anyone got the new haynes manual yet? Is it any good?

I've got one, seems good to me.

Me too - it seems up to the usual standard i.e. just doing a couple of the more simple jobs will pay for the manual !

Its OK. Some of the photos are not as good as they could be and some of the sections dont go to as much detail as they might.
BUT...........overall its a good buy.
Bear in mind that the book doesn't cover certain aspects of the 6 cylinder models.

When i was a young lad haynes was invaluable as they showed you loads of tricks hpw to make your own tools etc, last one i read sunroof,
gearbox, transfer box and lots of other bits told you the capacities and the rest was refer to dealer:D

But if you have limited diy knowledge i would imagine they are pretty useful, but i bet theres not a single thing you cant find on the internet for free:)

Don't forget the CLK!

Gets the thumbs up from me. It should not be forgotten that in addition to the 4 cylinder W203 C class saloons, estates and coupes, it will cover the running gear for many of the W209 CLK 4 cylinder models.:thumb:
