Head gasket blown? That's very unusual. Post the first 6 numbers of your chassis number and I will loom them up?

Not necessarily. You need to check before stripping the engine down, either perform a block test or have a local garage sniff the coolant vapours with a 4-gas analyser.

Hi you asked me to send you the first 6 numbers on the chassis i sent them and i have no replay don't know if i made a mistake and you have not got them as i am new to this .thanks

Have you checked the other items as suggested? Have you done the sniffer test?

Yes oil cooler ok it is the head and thanks for you answer very much appreciated thanks

If still wanted torques from Autodata 2009 for 1998 210 E240 with 112.911 engine.
Max length of bolt 144.5mm
Stage 1 10Nm
Stage 2 30Nm
Stage 3 90 degrees
Stage 4 90 degrees
Stage 5 M8 = 20Nm
Hope this makes sense, -and helps!
