Head Gasket

Anyone have a rough idea how much a head gasket is to replace on a 04 A140?

Coming back home on the motorway last night, I had an OIL HI warning sound. This morning I went to check it and found mayo and water in the filler cap

Any ideas anyone?

Blocked breather system and to much engine oil.

Mayo and water in filler cap could be result of condensation and blocked breathers.

Mayo on dipstick, or oil in coolant expansion bottle, are more typical signs of failed head gasket.

I did what you guys suggested.

There was no muck on the dipstick, coolant was clean and the breather pipe was solid with the stuff

All cleaned out and I'll drop some of the oil later on (not happy with the garage that did the service)
