head light glass w 202 c class

hi all, HAPPY NEW YEAR:bannana:
does anybody know how to replace the glass headlight to a c class w 202 ?
i have contacted GSF they sell them for £33+vat which i think is fair.
but is it a job ai can do ?

Yeah, easy, plastic clips hold it on.

Yup-I paid about the same for one from them a year ago and it was an OEM Bosch. You need to remove the 1" strip below the head lamp to be able to remove it and then as the chap above says, it's just clips. Make sure the rubber gasket goes back properly in place otherwise you will have a lovely tank for your goldfish.

as above, but i had metal clips on mine, just be careful putting them back on as they can chip the glass.

I seem to rememeber my clips were metal also.

Make sure you buy the correct glass, the early lights have a plastic frame and clips, the later cars have no frame and metal clips.

The 2 types of lenses are not interchangable.

Other than that it's a doddle.
