Head Units Compatible with R129 Becker (under rear seat) Amplifier

Dear all
I'm a newbie SL500 r129 1998 owner and have quick question.
My car has the becker mercedes branded 'Special' Radio Cassette with boot mounted CD multi changer linked thru to the Becker Mid / Woofer Amp under the rear seats.
Are there any other head units available which are more up to date CD Head units etc which can be linked to the becker amp, either Becker head units or MB versions?

I have fitted a Becker Cascade in place of the MB Audio 30 in my 1999 SL500. It was a straight swap, albeit the CD Changer is lost.

I was interested in replacing with a becker unit, does it work with the existing under rear seat amp?

It seems to. I just unplugged the Audio 30 and connected the Becker straight up to the harness. I'm guessing it goes through the amp because I didn't make any wiring changes. I really like the Becker. The only downside is that the screen is hard to read in bright sunlight.

Thanks for that. Just to double check as my car is a 98. Does your car deffo have the under rear seat amplifier?
