Hi Folks,
When I bought my 2004 C180 from the dealer, the front right headlamp was out. He fixed it before I took the car.
Now, 5 days after taking the car home, the light has gone out again.

Is this likely to be a fuse issue?

Cheers,
Steve.

That depends on what the dealer (didn't) fix. Suggest you ask him to fix it properly this time.

Sounds like a bad earth to me.

Or a faulty headlamp bulb.
'Smack' the glass with the palm of your hand. This causes the filament (assuming it isn't xenon) to vibrate and connect back to the support wires in the bulb.

If this fixes it again, a new bulb is required.

Possibly this is how the dealer 'fixed' it

Thanks for the replies.
It's not a xenon bulb, no.
I'll ask the garage to check the cables etc then so.
Failing that, a new headlamp!
