HEADLAMP WASH.

Hiya, is there a secret to using the headlight wash on my CLK convertible (A209) or are they busted ? The washer bottle is full, and the jets extend, I can clearly hear the pump working in short bursts but no water, I've tried with headlights on and off, don't much like mysteries, any advice please ?

A blockage or kink in a tube somewhere?

I think they use water pressure to extend the nozzles, blockage or frozen at the nozzles. Hmm nice word nozzles ?

if they pop out and extend there must be crud in the jets, as Trickythemerc says, the water pressure must be there as they wouldn't pop out.

Are you using a good quality screenwash ?

Try cleaning the nozzle with the thinnest needle maybe it’s just blocked
