Hi guys, please help! I have a 2014 plate ML350 BlueTec (W166), with bi-xenon adaptive headlights. Now when replacing a headlight ballast, the friend who did it for me forgot to replace the screw cap at the back of the headlight unit. So it ended up getting lots of water inside and the whole unit died.
I’ve had to buy a replacement headlight unit (think it had 8-pin connection), but the original headlight wiring harness (pin connector) has gone green and rusty. I’m looking to buy a replacement pin connector with a few inches of wiring attached. None of the car breakers seem to have them, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy this?
