So basically my HID bulb went on the car and I’ve had the bulb changed but still no light!!!! In the 48 hours since the bulb went the light cluster has condensation on the inside and the technician (non Merc) said that could be the cause and that I need a new light cluster??? Anybody got any suggestions as to why or how this has happened from a blown bulb? All the garage wanted to do was sell me a full cluster....

Do you mean a new headlight unit, a bit of condensation won't hurt it for short term, isn't it plastic anyway ?

Yes, sorry the whole unit. It is plastic but the water has got in somehow and now even with a new bulb the headlight won’t work. I’ve still got side light and indicator working. Just didn’t know if anyone had experienced anything similar when a bulb had blown?
