Headlight question

I have a facelift W163 and have managed to smash the N/S/F Headlight driving into a pheasant!

Despite looking for an eternity I still cannot source a replacement headlight

There are however a number of pre facelift headlights available and my question therefore is

Are the facelifted headlights backward compatible with the pre facelift headlights?

From memory, the brackets are the same but the wiring is different...

They also look completely different! don't do it!

Found a pair of headlights that state they are from a '52' plate ML270
They state they are zenon headlights without any bulbs?

Would it be correct to say these would be normal lights simply with zenon bulbs in them

The question is I suppose is

Would these fit my '52' plate ML320 - are the electrical connections the same?
Would I simply be able to fit normal non zenon bulbs in them

part numbers for the lights are

163 820 5361 & 163 820 5461
