Headlights

I have a W213 , just come from Land Rover which when I opened car via fob also turned front lights on and when I parked headlights stayed on for a time - good security. Comfort feature.

I cannot find if my E class has a similar feature - any help appreciated

It should have that feature in the convenience functions in the menu.
Your handbook should show how its activated.

My old 2004 W211 has it so I'd be surprised if the feature was discontinued.

Mine does. It's done it from new, so I haven't had to set it myself, but I think it's under the option Vehicle, and Settings.

Agreed. "Convenience lighting" perhaps? - You should be able to get there using the buttons on the steering wheel.
