Headliner

What material is the w204 headliner? Just wanted to know what the best way is to clean the headliner without damaging the fibres....

I had some marks on my s211, I used some household general purpose cleaner and a damp cloth, it did the job no problem although I'm sure there's something in Halfords that may be more suitable.
