Ive heard Apine make headunits which are compatable with the CLKs dashboard, do other makes make them?

Erm, a new headunit which is compatable with the display under the speedo etc

The current alpine catalogue lists several head units which can be linked by an accessory to a MB steering wheel control. The local alpine dealer to Horley has been ( so far ) unable to tell me if the info can echo from headunit onto the dashboard display but ' thinks so'. I understand the bus link sits behind the dashboard display. Not all of their headunits are so compatable.
