New heated passenger mirrors arrived and now fitted , at least with this one i get a beep and a reading off the meter

Also spotted my drivers mirror is auto dimming , i guess the passenger one was replaced with a standard one due to cost
This is the old mirror - no beep and no heat72186357_10220751210989793_4026893789778935808_n.jpg

The new mirror c/w an actual continuity beep , hopefully this will work

According to the cars spec from MB it had dimming on both sides - not anymore at that price :)
Not exactly, it says interior & outside mirrors, that would still be correct if only one exterior mirror dimmed.
Not aware of the passenger mirror ever being dimmable.

Thanks - Im learning every day and I misread that then - interior one does auto dim so at least something works , not noticed if the drivers one does or not but seeing as i only noticed it still has the right mirror this morning il take more notice of it and see

249 on my Oasis report says I have interior and driver’s side dimming.
Thats cleared that up for certain then - thanks :)

Could you tell me the procedure of how you take out the mirror from its housing and how much did it cost you?
Thanks

Found this video on youtube , mirrors not the same but the glass removal is , if your mirrors electric just tilt it fully down to get to the spring clip , its a 5 minute job tops.
Ive not tried doing the drivers side this way , its possible you need to remove the cover on this side.
Got a new genuine passenger glass from ebay for £35 posted

Just an update on this - new passenger heated mirror works very well and heats as quick as the drivers one . So id say when checking the mirror resistance that 24 or 25 ohms is what your looking for :)
New mirrors resistance - looks like my meters dropped a line as well 72193947_10220751212309826_6339625024592281600_n.jpg
