Anyone know what volages I should be getting at the heater blower regulator?
When switched off at the dash (but ignition on) I get 12v across the outer two pins of the plug and a range from about 9v to 0.11 v across the brown and centre pin depending on the heater fan setting on the dash. 0.11 being off.
The two lugs for the actual fan leads on either side of the regulator is a constant 12v when I plug the 3 pin connector in which surely isn't right? Surely the higher the voltage here, the faster the fan will spin?
Have checked the brushes and they are getting low (about 30% left each) but not dead. Fan does not turn at all (is free to spin by hand) and I suspect is burned out if I am right about that constant 12v.
Any help here greatly appreciated.
