Had all the fluids changed at my last service:
Engine
Gearbox
Diff
Supercharger
Brakes
Coolant
About a week later with roof down, no hot air, anywhere at any setting in any mode. Just cold and very cold.
I'm guessing air blockage in coolant system, probbaly because mechanic forgot to bleed the system.
How best to bleed said systyem guys to get warm to hot air back please?
(In previous cars I simply opened the rad cap and waited for the thermo stat to kick in with the neck of the rad being the highest point of the engine (usually on ramps).
The SL55 doesnt have a rad cap (just the resefvoir one) and it seems to be the highest point anyway. I ran the engine, cap off, waitied for thermo to kick in around 80 degrees but no air bubbles and no hot air (Yes - I ran the heater at max chat with blower fully on and 38 degrees set.).
