Heater direction to foot well

Hi all,

Has anyone had a problem with trying to get heat to there feet when selected on switch?
When I select heat to feet on my E320 CDI I have nothing... I have full blow coming from all other vents, but just not to my plates of meat for some reason

Anyone any ideas??

I suspect the vent flap is stuck or the motor that drives it has failed.
If you have access to Star then it can test the system and pinpoint the problem.
My car has an issue with the driver's footwell flap too but it means removing a large portion of the dash to get to it so it is on the list of things to do.

I'm a bit like yourself, with the list the length of your arm

Unfortunately warm tooties are well down the list at the minute, but I'll try and get my big swede under the dash and have a look

I had to ask, just incase, on the very rare occasion there was 1 problem on the list that had a simple fix. It's a Mercedes I should have known better
