The heater fails to blow hot air just recently when the engine is up to temperature. The thermostat regulates as it should. The A/C works fine as with all the other functions of the temperature adjustment control. I've noticed a gurgling sound coming from the heater area, sometimes, and the car does need regular top ups of water.. The mats and interior of the car are bone dry and there's no indication of any water leaking from the system to the outside. There is no evidence of water leaks BUT the water system does stay pressurized overnight which I believe it shouldn't. The performance of the car is good and shows no signs of water ingress in the oil.
Any ideas anyone? Is the heater accessible from the engine bay or has the dash to be removed?
