Hi all! Need some help.....
Went for a drive with my C43 in the mountains yesterday and enjoyed the red and gold autumn colours. However, when my wife tell me she's freezing on her side of the cabin, I was doubtful as I was warm and comfortable on my side.
I checked the air-vents on her side and all (side, foot well and dash) are blowing cool air. All my vents on my side blowing nice warm air.
I have the led climate control panel with following settings: auto, aircon is on permanently with either 21°c or 22°c cabin temp selected. Aircon works fine all round in hot temperatures, so the system does not seem low on gas.
Any idea what has gone wrong?? Should I do the diagnostic check in the climate control to see any codes?

Hi,
Not sure regarding this as most cars have duel zones (passenger and drivers side separetly controllable), but though the C43 has a duel zone control valve it has,nt the ability to control the zones separatly. The diagnostics I don,t believe would show anything up.
You could try taking the temp up through the range then back down to where you want it then compare both sides.
Have you had your coolant system emptied and flushed ever?

Thanks for the comments. Well the C43 does not have left/right separately controllable temp zones. Just the one temp control on the central screen. I have not had the coolant system flushed and as I have the car since only April this year and I don't know if this has been done in the recent past. At least the water colour looks a decent greenish tint. The car has always been serviced in MB shops according to the stamps in the service book.
