I was wondering what the hottest temperature anyone registered in todays heatwave.

I got to 37 degrees, outside the car and with the aircon on full to 23.1 in the front and 24.7 in the back. (S-class).

They did say in the original bumpf that you could have Biarritz on one side and Iceland on the other

I got 40 outside today. I'll check inside the car tomorrow. I forgot you can check the inside temp to on the digital climate control!

On that topic I've had my W210 for about a year now, and I only discovered yesterday that the front "window-side" air-con vents have two settings.

If you have the adjustment roller all the way up then the air only comes out of the dash little slots to clear the side windows...but if you have the adjuster in the middle setting then all the air comes out of the vent. - This is different from the middle vents and explains why my middle vents always seemed to be working so hard.
