Heeeelp- R129 Spoiler

Im desperatly looking for a classy Boot Spoiler i have seen a 3 peice bumper bfor but cant find one anywhere.....nothing to crass has to be understated but like a boot lip spoiler on steroids.......any advise??


I have a 1996 SL500 and require some tweaks can anyone advise on the below as well;(if these are even possible)

Light upgrade to Xenon
Electric Wing mirror


also is there some MB parts list with part numbers anywhere on line as i require a new Engine pad, front indicators and original floor mats

By 3-piece do you mean the ducktail, as seen here?

They're hard to find, but ebay.de is normally a good start.

For the parts list, a search should turn up the links to the online EPC.

I looked into the Xenon upgrade and it looks as if you have to buy second hand parts which I couldnt find for less than £1300!

If you make any headway here then id be interested.

The OP's 1996 car should have electric mirrors as standard?

Maybe it's a late pre-facelift and they were optional then

I know that Bosch supposedly do a "kit". Meant to include units, ballasts and bulbs etc but never seen one to be certain.

You'd also need to install the self-levelling (unless the car is ADS equipped), and I don't know how it would hook into the existing wiring setup for H4 bulbs.

Mine's late pre-face and has electric mirrors. I don't think they came any other way. Unless he means the electric centre mirror, tied into the memory seats?

I meant folding wing mirrors. Thanx for all the replies/advise. Boot spoiler is proving very tricky.....so far managed to find a basic lip spoiler from tiawan or a phat spolier that looks like it could pick up sat TV in azerbajan!!!!! not right for the classy R129.....ideally im after the 107 style lip spoiler for the 129....

I've never seen anything like you describe, but that's not to say it doesn't exist.
