As above it appears it's the height control sensor that's at fault causing the rear of our s211 to drop sometimes. The Indy I use has tried numerous mb dealerships but it seems there is a heavy shortage available in the UK and Europe. Could anyone recommend where I could source one maybe a second hand one could be available.

Many thanks,

Tom

I sensor I require has a lever attached to it.

Keep hunting!

VIN and part numbers are your friends here. ;)

Is it not part number A0105427617 you are looking for?

I'm not entirely sure to be honest.

The part number above is coming back as a headlight control sensor. I've been told I need a height control sensor 🤷.

It's the same part number - the same sensor is used in two roles. It's got a hole in it because it's bolted to the lever that you mention.

As your car is a 211, if it's pre '04, it could use a different one though.

Ok great info Pete, thanks. I'll send the picture to the Indy tomorrow see what he says.

The registration is 04. But it's a 03 build unsure if this will make a difference.

Again thanks for the information. Much appreciated. 👍

Height control sensor replaced. Suspension working as normal.

👍😁

Thought that was it.

The other part listed above is the g force accelaration sensor.
