Hello anyone know about this E55 at George Kingleys Essex

May just be me but the front doesn't look to be a very good fit? (Bonnet/front panel)

Also, it's the right age to be starting to rust and the right mileage for SBS issues. Having said all that, the W211 is still one of my favourite AMGs :D

I would hope the bonnet hasn't been properly closed. Unless as Dave above spotted, its a big panel gap above the side lights.
The car itself looks in good condition with a good spec, but is again on the high side price wise. Looks like its following the recent E55 trend.

If this keeps up my car will be worth more than I paid for it:D
It already has 14k less miles, is a year newer and I paid less than the asking price of this example 18 months ago:dk:

The bonnet has been closed by the looks of it - when it is ajar, it rests slightly above the wing.

The front OS wing looks a slightly different shade of silver - I wonder if it has been smacked which might account for the new air intake.

Rising prices of E55Ks is not good if you love them - as it may well put temptation in your way to sell what is a great car!

Thanks guys for all your great feedback. I am going to have a look at it tomorrow.

Only looking at it because the dealer looks fine and is a known vw and audi specialist. The car also has a warranty, not sure how long and which one but from the pictures it maybe a rac?

Found others but the spec was' t right or the car had issues. Hopefully the condition and history will decide.

Sorry what would you offer for it?

i actually quite like the look of that, Looks nice :)

That bonnet shutline looks like something is very wrong.

prob the bumper not aligned or had a hit

Have sat studying the front end of this car for about 10 minutes and just can not work out why it has the large gaps the bonnet must be shut as the line of it is correct with the wing. Don't think the wing has been sprayed it is just how the light has caught it when the picture has been took. It is hard to go buy pictures though
Awaiting your report after you have looked at it tomorrow

I'd be looking at going in nearer 8 probably. If they don't give you that much off, see what else you can barter in (the usual full tank of fuel etc.).

You want to try and find the walkaway price for it but you have to be prepared to walk away from it.

The bonnet is easily adjustable underneath. I would be more worried if it wasn't straight.
It looks a good example to me.

Saw it today and the bonnet fit is fine, I think in the picture one side of the bonnet was not shut down properly.

Anyway didn't buy it because there were many scuffs along both sides of the bumper and a little on the wing. The alloys were very well kerb. The boot lid top had many bubbles which is rusting from underneath the paint. Inside the boot on floor there was signs of rust and the storage bin which goes where the spare normally is, did not fit properly and signs of water drops in the boot.

I would say it has had a rear end but poorly repaired.

Saw another black one

Mercedes-Benz E Class 5.4 E55 AMG 4dr

This had a delaminated windscreen marks and rust along the windscreen drivers side top corner. Furthermore squeal from the pulley or thereabouts.

The search continues.

£12k for a 53 is strong money - even for that mileage.
