Hello and thanks to admins for admitting me to the forum.
Im John in Motherwell Scotland.
In the past I've owned a white 1979 V registration C200 Benziner whilst serving in Germany with the Army.
It was 2 years old when I bought it and I drove it for 7 years, it had a blue leather interior was a manual gearbox and I could shoot myself for not keeping it.
I sold it in 1988 to another soldier for the sum of 5,000DM which at the time would have amounted to £1250, Arrggghhhh. :fail
My second Merc was a 1998 C180 Classic Auto which was also a nice car but not a patch on the C200.
Anyway, hello to everyone here, I joined the forum to gen up as Im now looking to relive my youth in a Merc again.
I fancy a 3 litre petrol auto, any advice greatly appreciated.
