Hello from a newbie MB driver from Sunny Scotland!

Hi, everyone!

Just joined the thread after buying my first MB.

Don't laugh but it's a 55 plate C160(On a budget and got it at a decent dollar).

Never really bought it for speed but hoping to put some new ICE in it and some fairly subtle exterior mods (having had a look about the net, seem to be few and far between.

The ironic thing is I write Sunny Scotland in the thread title and it was 22 degrees outside today.

Anyways, will be looking forward to getting some info and advice of some of you weathered veterans to get the Merc tip top in no time.

My first Merc was a 1980 E-class that cost me £100 and was worth half that

My first was a 1970s 230 coupe in the beautiful colour of cream. Got it for free. The 3speed automatic made for some pricey fuel costs though!
