Hi chaps and chapesses.
I'm retired and previously worked for Ford and Nissan but have seen the error of my ways! lol
I've been driving a C220 CDI Estate for 2 years - got it on an 01 plate at 140k miles and put 33k miles on it - loved the old thing!
I decided (with my dear lady's support) to buy an old ML that was Ebay - old one again but immaculate. Picked it up yesterday at 15.30 and done just under 100 miles on it already - what a motor! I absolutely love it!
I'm 69 and have seen the light!

Hi , we are similarly retired . Was running a 2008 E320 cdi but only for 4 years and covered only 16 k miles but 2 years was living in Jersey, had only 42 k on the clock. Yesterday we traded it in for a 2007 ML 320 cdi with, would you believe it 42k miles on the clock, 10 main dealer service stamps. Drove it 75 miles home , love it, very quiet, nearly as good as the E class, but happy to be back with the elevated 4x4 driving position. Also have a hankering to get back to a V8 petrol, must see if I can get my wife to trade in her Smart for an E55
