On the way back from buying the car, i went at a 'reasonable' speed to test it and the front undertray came off. I think it was because they amended something in the drivers side and didnt fit it back properly. So the undertray broke and as a temp fix i got it cable tied and thats what they are.

Thanks, i wish it was that easy. The undertray is actually broken so i need to get a new one from someone whos breaking thei w211
