Quick introduction. I have a Japanese car for the family run around which is very practical but being a 1.3 is very slow. Was looking for something with a good engine, decent performance whilst not being too high on the tax or heavy on the petrol. Was trying to avoid a turbo as one less thing to go wrong. Although I have previously had Saab 95 Aero which was a great car and the turbo boost was fun. Had not thought of the C350 petrol as didn’t know about it until I came across them in a random search for other cars. Noticed the 3.5lt V6, lowish tax and 30+mpg which looked good. Had a search around and noticed that they were very well priced for the age and mileage compared to similar cars. Also it’s nice that there are not many around so keep with the ‘Saabism’ it looked something a bit different. Took the plunge and just bought a 2012 C350 petrol coupe. It’s my 1st German car. Hoping they are reliable and parts are not too expensive. Plan on doing some of the servicing myself e.g. oil change, filters, plugs.
