Hello , and welcome to the forum . I'm up in Aberdeen quite regularly as the in-laws live there ( Westhill ) .

The good Italian is Lalombarda, I liked it very much. There are some good places to drink as well, but also some not so good rough places too.

You should try the silver darling restaurant down by the docks. Its set in a rough part of town but the food is equsitite, with a bill to match.

I used to live in Aberdeen, from 1989-1994. Well, the last two years I lived on a cottage on a farm at Skene, about four miles from Westhill. Lalombarda and the Silver Darling were both there in my day. Tried the former, could not afford the latter. Not visited for years, so imagine it has changed a lot.
