I have a 2004 CLK 240 cabriolet, the hood stopped working. I now have a message in red that say's - Please release roll-over bar- any idea, anyone experienced this ?

I found this on another site that might be helpful:

If you are asking how to disengage the roll bars because they have deployed (maybe due to going over a large bump), then you have to use a tool (allen wrench or screwdriver) to slide between the headrest and seat back opening to press a release lever. The exact procedure is detailed in the owner's manual. it may warn you not to do that when the top is closed, but it's OK - just be careful not to damage the headliner.
