Just bought myself an e220d cabriolet 2014, thought I’d join to introduce myself and see if can find any bits I may need in the future, or chat about best place to get any potential mods/ aftermarket extras etc

This model suffers from problems with the adblue system so you may want to look at an aftermarket warranty if you bought the car privately.

Thankyou, managed to get a 2 year warranty with garage I bought it from thrown in, my doesn’t seem to have adblue, was registered in jan 2014, so suppose could be 2013 model, just with facelift, my first diesel Mercedes previously owned a CL500 about 10 years ago. I’ve uploaded current one, and my old one from back in the day

Nice car, it's a A207 and it shares its platform with the C-Class W204 (in case you need to order spare parts etc).

Thankyou, will definitely help, nothing needs doing as such, just few niggly bits, that I might replace, seat release looks a little faded on drivers side, but seems common as gets a lot of use.

I'm viewing an E220d cabriolet tomorrow as a replacement for my SL320, which went to it's new owner this week. The car looks clean from the pictures and videos they've provided, but is there anything I should be looking out for in particular?
