Good morning and hello everyone. Growing up a wee bit and decided to ditch the Golf GTI 's and go for something a bit classier. Got my eye on a nearly new c250 Cdi estate. My only niggle and it might seem trivial is do I have to use run flats on this car. It's the only thing putting me off unless there is something I should be warned about. Thanks in advance for any input.

Welcome mate, sure runflats can be replaced with normal tyres but i could be wrong. I know runflats are expensive but are very good as i can testify after a blow out at well over 100mph..

Welcome from me too.

I can see why u might be a fan lol. It's just there are many potholes in Glasgow , we have some terrible roads. My mate hit 1 while on run flats and destroyed the tyre and wheel. While it has never happened to me I would rather avoid the expense of replacing run flats if it did. As the local council seem hell bent on not repairing our roads and not compensating the road user after incidents.
